The team is excited to present our second partner this year, Journée Phare! This Québec enterprise is our pharmacological sister symposium, as it aims to do precisely what BioConnect is doing uniting professionals from the industry and academia. Based off l’Université de Sherbrooke, this event is organized entirely by students of pharmacology, with a firm backing from the industry.

Recognizing the overlap between the larger area of biotechnology and pharmacology, we invite you to attend Journée Phare on the 4th of November 2011, and to network with the organizers further at BioConnect. Registration deadline has been extended to October 7th. All information can be found on their website.

The BioConnect 2011 executive team is proud to announce a partnership with BioTech Montreal. This organization hosts periodic networking events, which bring together Montreal's variety of industry professionals, including entrepreneurs, investors, attorneys, scientists, professors, and journalists.

BioTech Montreal will lend their networking facilitation expertise to our platform, and BioTech Montreal members' participation in the event is expected to yield mutual benefits in line with the symposium's own mission regarding forging connections in the biotechnology community.
